Uganda Water & Environment Week Participation

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET) actively participated in the Uganda Water and Environment Week, a national platform that brings together stakeholders to discuss sustainable management of water and environmental resources.

During the event, faculty members and students engaged in exhibitions, technical sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums focused on water resource management, environmental protection, climate resilience, and sustainable engineering solutions. The participation provided an opportunity to showcase academic expertise, research initiatives, and student innovations aligned with national development priorities.

FoET’s involvement also strengthened collaboration with government agencies, development partners, academia, and industry players working in the water and environment sector. The interactions fostered dialogue on practical solutions to current environmental challenges and highlighted the role of engineering education in promoting sustainability.

Participation in Uganda Water and Environment Week reflects the Faculty’s commitment to community engagement, applied research, and contribution to national and regional efforts aimed at sustainable water and environmental management.
