RESEARCH FOCUS AREAS: Optimization, Modelling and Simulation of Textile Processes, and Textile Materials Engineering with different applications. 

I assist Dean with the following:

  1. Academic Administration, including curriculum development, examination oversight, and ensuring accreditation standards
  2. Faculty coordination, including managing teaching schedules, workload distribution, and faculty development plans within the departments
  3. Quality assurance by leading internal academic audit and curriculum review for continuous improvement.
  4. Resource & lab management to ensure equipment maintenance and safety compliance
  5. Student progression by monitoring student academic performance, identifying students who are at risk and implementing remedial strategies.
  6. Policy implementation by reinforcing university rules
  7. Support and students’ engagement by mentoring students on course selection, research projects and career pathways.
